Alabama is a member of 7 interstate licensing compacts: Nurse Licensure Compact, Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact, Physical Therapy Compact, EMS Compact (REPLICA), Counseling Compact, Occupational Therapy Compact.

Both Alabama and Alabama are members of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). If you hold a multistate nursing license from Alabama, you can practice in Alabama without obtaining a separate license.

Alabama teaching reciprocity: NASDTEC member; accepts out-of-state certificates with additional state requirements.
