Per-axle limits: Single axle 20,000 lbs, Tandem axle 34,000 lbs, Tridem axle 42,000 lbs. Federal bridge formula on interstates; Nevada allows Longer Combination Vehicles (LCVs) up to 129,000 lbs on designated state routes. Enforcement tolerance: Limited tolerance on state highways.

Oversize/Overweight Permits

Oversize/overweight permits through NDOT Motor Carrier Division Fees: Single-trip: $25; Annual: $100+. Washington oversize permits are not directly honored in Nevada. You will need to obtain a Nevada-specific permit for oversize/overweight loads. Apply online: https://www.dot.nv.gov/doing-business/motor-carrier-division Enforcement: NHP and NDOT enforcement; weigh stations on major corridors.
