LB561 (signed May 2025): continuous overweight permits available for raw milk transport vehicles up to 107,500 lbs (previously only temporary permits issued); NDOT publishes bridge restriction map for route planning Fees: Single-trip: $25; Annual: $100. New Hampshire oversize permits are not directly honored in Nebraska. You will need to obtain a Nebraska-specific permit for oversize/overweight loads. Apply online: https://dot.nebraska.gov/business-center/permits/truck/ Enforcement: NSP and NDOT enforcement; weigh stations; fines based on overweight amount.

Exemptions

Agricultural: Agricultural vehicles exempt on state highways; harvest season allows higher weights for grain haulers.
