Oversize/Overweight Permits
Excess weight permits through TDOT Oversize & Overweight Permit Office; $20 base plus 6 cents per ton-mile Fees: Single-trip: $20+ (plus ton-mile fee); Annual: $100+. District of Columbia oversize permits are not directly honored in Tennessee. You will need to obtain a Tennessee-specific permit for oversize/overweight loads. Exemptions
