Louisiana has a universal license recognition law. As a Wyoming-licensed professional, your license is generally recognized in Louisiana, subject to meeting basic eligibility requirements. Both Wyoming and Louisiana are members of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). If you hold a multistate nursing license from Wyoming, you can practice in Louisiana without obtaining a separate license.

Teaching license portability from Wyoming to Louisiana: NASDTEC member; reciprocal certification with additional state exam for some subjects. Most states participate in the NASDTEC Interstate Agreement, but specific requirements vary by state and endorsement area.
