Maryland is an NLC member, but Massachusetts is not. Your multistate NLC license does not cover practice in Massachusetts. You will need to apply for a separate Massachusetts nursing license.

Teaching license portability from Maryland to Massachusetts: NASDTEC member; accepts certificates through Interstate Agreement with additional requirements. Most states participate in the NASDTEC Interstate Agreement, but specific requirements vary by state and endorsement area.

Massachusetts supports PE license comity through NCEES. Licensed Professional Engineers from Maryland can apply for licensure by comity, which is a streamlined process using your NCEES Record.
