We're always looking for new ways to make state-by-state information easier to navigate. If you have an idea for a new topic, we'd love to hear it.

How It Works

What makes a good idea?

Your idea should fit into one of two formats:

  • 1.Home State Anchor — Like our tax map: you select your home state, then click another state to see how the rules differ. Great for things like reciprocity agreements, licensing requirements, or any scenario where "where you live" changes "what you owe/need" somewhere else.
  • 2.Single Map View — A simpler format: click any state to see its information. No home state needed. Great for comparing policies, costs, or requirements across all 50 states at a glance.

Where does the data come from?

The information must be available from publicly accessible sources — official state government websites, regulatory databases, or published state-level data. We specialize in topics where the data exists but is scattered across 50+ different state websites, making it time-consuming for individuals and businesses to research on their own.

What happens after you submit?

If we accept it for the platform: Your idea becomes a new topic available to all users — and you get free access to the feature as a thank-you for contributing an idea with broad value.

If it's too niche for the broader platform: We'll reach out with an estimate for a custom build tailored to your team. This may be structured as either a minimum subscription commitment or a one-time lump sum cost, depending on the scope and ongoing data maintenance required.

The more detail you provide, the better we can evaluate feasibility. Minimum 20 characters.
