Georgia has NO meaningful state-level EV purchase incentives as of April 2026. No state rebate, tax credit, or sales tax exemption for EVs exists. Buyers rely entirely on the federal IRA credit (up to $7,500, subject to income and vehicle requirements). Check https://georgia.gov/ for any new legislation.

Solar Tax Credit & Net Metering
Georgia does not offer a state solar income tax credit. Net metering: Net metering is available in Georgia under Georgia Public Service Commission rules. Excess generation is credited at the avoided cost rate, not the retail rate.

Georgia's state EV tax credit (up to $5,000) expired in June 2015 and was not renewed. No current state EV incentive exists.
