South Carolina has NO meaningful state-level EV purchase incentives as of April 2026. No state rebate, tax credit, or sales tax exemption for EVs exists. Solar Tax Credit & Net Metering
South Carolina does not offer a state solar income tax credit. Net metering: Net metering is available in South Carolina under SC Code 58-40-10. Excess generation is credited at the retail rate for residential systems up to 20 kW.
