Tennessee has constitutional carry (permitless carry). Anyone legally allowed to possess a firearm can carry concealed without a permit. Your Connecticut permit is not required but may still be useful for other purposes.

Where You Cannot Carry (Even With a Valid Permit)
In Tennessee, concealed carry is prohibited in the following locations: Schools, courthouses, government buildings, bars, hospitals, places of worship (without permission), amusement parks. Always check for posted signage and comply with all local restrictions. Federal gun-free zones (federal buildings, post offices, military installations) apply nationwide regardless of state permits.
