In Illinois, concealed carry is prohibited in the following locations: Schools, government buildings, public transit, bars, parks, playgrounds, hospitals, libraries, airports, stadiums, amusement parks, casinos. Always check for posted signage and comply with all local restrictions. Federal gun-free zones (federal buildings, post offices, military installations) apply nationwide regardless of state permits.
